TENUTA MIRANDA
Piedmont
ABOUT
Outside the charming town of Canelli, tucked among rolling hills covered in grape vines, you’ll find a tranquil estate with a rich history. The Tenuta Miranda was named after the granddaughter of its former owner, a world-renowned grappa distiller. Miranda Bocchino was a business woman in her own right, carrying on her family's legacy and their expansion in to wine production. Grapes grown at the tenuta are still used to produce the 'De Miranda' Asti Spumante at the award-winning Contratto winery in town.
Guests of Tenuta Miranda might spend the day relaxing on the property, cooling off in the infinity pool, or enjoying an aperitivo. Our team can provide group wine tastings in our own cantina, book a bike tour or a yoga lesson, or even organize a truffle hunt. And since the Tenuta is located in one of the world's premier wine regions, the UNESCO-protected Langhe-Roero and Monferrato, let us arrange a trip to one (or more!) of the many incredible wineries in the area. Find out why Food & Wine Magazine called Piedmont "the most mysterious and most alluring wine region in the world."

THINGS TO DO
Wine Tours
Thanks to our location in one of the world's richest wine regions, we can arrange excursions to award-winning producers in the area. We can also plan unique tasting events in our own cellar, featuring incredible wines from the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato zones (ideal for guests who wish to stay closer to their beds).
Foodie Tours
Piedmont produces the best hazelnuts in the world, not to mention renowned artisanal cheeses, like Castelmagno and Robiola di Roccaverano. We can arrange visits to nearby orchards and cheesemakers, where you'll learn about typical foods of the region and taste them for yourself.
Truffle Excursions
The hills surrounding the property
are famous for the coveted white truffle, so head out on a guided hunt with dogs trained to unearth these tasty treasures. The once-in-a-lifetime experience is followed by a truffle tasting featuring regional specialties.
Cultural Visits
Take a drive through rolling hills to visit the cathedrals, castles, and restaurants of nearby medieval towns like Alba, Neive, and Barolo.
Biking & Hiking
Ask us about bike rentals or professionally guided hikes through the surrounding nature.
Yoga Sessions
We can arrange for a yoga instructor to meet you at the estate for a sweat session with a view.
EVENTS
The Tenuta is perfect for group tours, weddings, corporate retreats, and everything in between. By booking the entire property, it's also possible to arrange catered events with access to our chef's kitchen, outdoor grill, and wood-fired pizza oven. The estate also features a cantina and tasting room for private wine events.
